I've recently bought an x reg scenic monaco and I think its a bit noisy considering its age, its only done 54000 miles and it sounds like a window or door is not shut properly, does anyone else who has one find this problem?

Are we talking Road or Engine noise?

Road noise (assuming all rear seats are in normal position, parcel shelf in place) is either poorly closed boot/doors, or the rear passenger windows (if not electric) slip down about a quarter inch every 6-8 weeks. Noise increases drastically when you fold a rear seat down or move it forwards.

Engine noise (assuming engine temperature is normal, oil/water levels OK...), from most to least likely, dodgy exhaust (try quick fit), rumbling noise may be drive shaft(s) (mine did 95000 miles before going), or (less likely) wheel bearings knackered.
