Digital TV (in UK)
3 Answers
Can somebody please un-confuse an OAP? I have an ordinary TV with a roof aerial for the "terrestrial" channels. I also have cable with a set-top box, through which I can receive the same terrestrial channels as well as all the others, on the same TV set.
When TV goes all-digital, will I simply have to take all channels through the set-top decoder, or will I need to buy something new? Do so-called digital TVs just have a decoder built in?

Of course if you want to record one thing whilst watching another you will need another such unit, or at least a dvd or vcr with inbuilt digital decoder. New tv s will have this built in too - i think there are already sets on the market with this option
