We have a LPG tank at the end of the garden, when the supplier called today to renew stocks, because he had difficulty negotiating the right of way he has suggested another route to the tank which will require approx 50m of extra piping. My question is, if he connects extra piping will it need to be bled every tme or will the supply push air into the tank & will that be detrimental to the system ?.
I used to work in this industry years ago. Unless things have changed, the pipe is fully charged with LPG all the way along so the problem you describe shouldn't arise.
Thanks for your answer SeaJayPea, however, I am not sure I made it clear in my post. The supplier would be using an extension pipe which would be left at our premises every time, so would the extension have to be primed every time it was used ?
