How do you delete your answer machine message on a touch phone?

I have a samsung 8880 pixon, when you are listening to your calls you are unable to see the keypad how do i delete my answer phone messages?

Voice mail messages are providing by network not phone so can't see why chuck should direct you to manual. He is usually very good but hey, we all make mistakes.

Usually at end of message you given various options, e.g. hear message again, keep message, delete message etc.

Listen for option you require. If network tells you to press 3 to delete message then remove phone from ear (use anaesthetic if required) use eyes to locate 3 on keypad and press with any available digit (that's a finger). Job done, message deleted.

Doh.

The manual tells you how to unlock the screen so you can see the keypad while in a call, which is what they are having a problem with.

If question had been worded differently to describe the actual problem, - e.g. "keypad is locked", I would have answered differently, if at all.

I answered what I read, simple as that.

well, i would have thought that both the question being about a "touch phone" and the actual phone being named might've given you a clue when you were reading it
