Water cut off what about central heating

Water cut off here this morning - can someone advise what this means for my gas fired central heating. I presume there will be a problem if the water in the cylinder which is heated by the GFCH empties - but what about before that - Should the heating be used at all?

the water in the tank is the hot water for the taps etc and has no connection to the central heating,you should be able to turn the hot water off and leave the heating on.
