how can you get a green card or eligibility to go and live in the usa?. apart from being sponsored by a uk company or have relatives i think is one,, surely there must be other ways.

unless you are a resident of one of the countries that can enter the Green Card Lottery (the UK isnt one), or marry an American Citizen (even then it can take years to get the visa and green card) then there is no other way

What about if you have loadsa money? That usually does the trick for most things like this (including coming to the UK).

The loadsa money route is an E2 visa and typically involves an investment of around $100k (though there is no set amount)

Making what they call a 'major' investment in a US business will do it.., but it looks like it has to pass certain tests. This might help
