You can swap mouse switch function to left-handed in control panel.
I too would like to know how to assign mouse clicks to a keyboard key.
But the only 'solution' I've come up with is to plug in an external mouse.
I used to use a tailless mouse (wireless) . . . until my usb ports went south.
if you have a numeric keyboard then turn on mouse keys

http://www.microsoft....dowsxp/mousekeys.aspx

you can the use 5 on the numeric keypad to left click, you can also use the rest of the numeric keypad to move the cursor about if you want

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouse_keys#Layout

if you've not got a number pad on your keyboard you can still do it using the virtual number pad but it won't be so convenient.
