iPod - HELP!!!!

Until recently I had iTunes set up on a laptop and used it to store my music and sync my iPod Nano - since the laptop is no longer in use and I have a new one (and can't access the old one) how do I resume use of iTunes?

I have downloaded iTunes to my new laptop this morning but
a) Can't see how to register
b) Am worried that if I syn the iPod to a new account i will lose all the music stored on it?
c) How to I carry on where I left off and start to add new music?
d) How do I get all the music from the iPod back into a new iTunes account

Someone should be able to help as this question has been asked and answered a few times.

your original account will work on any computer.Just download it use same details to log in and away you go.

Thanks both - Mickrog .... witht he new account downloaded where is the option to log in? I think I am going blind or mad (or both!)

If you try to buy a toon, it will ask you to log in. Maybe that will come up a bit clearer?
