What is the best way of dyeing white sports shoes, black? Will normal shoe dye work? Made of white plastic, white cloth netting, and light gray chamois leather.

apologies for answering a question with a question but why would you want to do that?

idea would be to buy black sports shoes?

Because I have never found a pair of black shoes that I like and are comfortable. They are either white or a mixture of garish colours.
