Can anyone suggest something that will safely remove loctite superglue that's encrusted on the claw settings of a diamond ring?

loctite superglue remover!

Got nail varnish remover?

Little dab of acetone on a cotton bud ''SHOULD'' remove it.

Naz, yes and yes. I'll try although it's on both sides and quite a bit (I had an accident)

Gina didn't know that existed, will check it out but obviously I need to be careful what I use.

yes it does exsisit, good stuff as well, been around for years

Thanks again, I soaked it nail polish remover for a couple of hours and then used an old toothbrush and it's all off.
