Trying to change cartridges in Epson Stylus DX4400, and I can't figure out how to get the cartridge holder in the correct position. The guide is no help at all, have tried to do what it shows in the diagrams but to no avail. Can anyone help please?

Is the cartridge empty, or just low?

You cannot do the following by pressing the Stop button:

* Replace an ink cartridge before it is expended. This is not possible even if the ink cartridge status is indicated as 'low' (when the ink light is flashing).
* Move the ink cartridge holder when the red ink light is not displayed.
* Initiate a head clean when the ink light is flashing.
