just started using google chrome,why when i type out something am i getting red lines under some of the words?

It has a built in spell checker ... it's suggesting you have spelt those words wrongly (or it doesn't know them).

ok thx not sure if i like it or not (google chrome) but it is faster

if it's underlining things you think are spelt correct you may have it set to American english for the spellchecker, have a look in Options > Under the Bonnet > Change font and language settings > Languages

you have to pay for the words underlined in red, it's how they make money.

went "under the bonnet" turned spell checker off did the trick!
