sky remote

i have replaced my sky remote, having tuned it in i cannot get the volume control to work. i have done this on a previous remote but cant remember how i did it.

Go to "interactive" on the main menu page, select #4 then "programming your Sky remote".

just looked on the inside of my old remote black one, I have a new grey one now the one ones had a sticker inside to help tune it in.

It says:

1) Press 'tv' button
2) Hold down 'select' and 'red' together for 2 seconds
3) Led on top of remote should blink twice
4) Enter TV code (usually 4 digits)
5) LED should blink twice again

You find you TV code by looking in your tv instructions/manual or searching online for each tv maker they list a few numbers to try.

I have a toshiba an old one so my number is 0536

When you find the right code that works write it on the inside somewhere for future use.
