Do Tesco no longer carry out unused clubcard points from one statement to the next?
I know they used to as I didn't change my address for about 3 years and when I finally got round to it I had about £20 worth, however my statement last time was only £5.00 but I know there was about £11 on the previous statement that I hadn't used.
Each time they send you a statement they give you vouchers for the amount of points you've earned. You should already have received these vouchers with your last statement.
I get the vouchers but they used to add on any vouchers that were unused from the previous statement.
So last time I got vouchers of £11.00 but didn't use them so with this statement I expected the unused £11 plus the new £5 but only got £5. Does that make sense?
hhhmm, odd. I must have just spent a load of money there when I got the £20 voucher. I assumed that was a combination of the 3 years or so worth that I hadn't used.
So, if I chucked the older vouchers away, can I get them replaced?
That's nearly £125 of "rewards" - you could treat yourself with a watch or jewellery from Goldsmiths! It used to be 4x but is now only 3x Tesco voucher value.
PHONE the Tesco Clubcard helpline Milly, they are very helpful and will sort it all out for you.
When I mover i forgot to tell them my new add in time & my vouchers were sent to the old add, When I phoned them they told me the vouchers had been used. Evidently the people at my old add had used 'em ( £25 because I'd bought house-hold stuff)
Anyway they understood & said it does happen. They sent with my next statement
£25 replacement vouchers.
Soo it is worth giving them a ring Milly.
Thanks Jem. It was quite a while ago that I told them my change of address and they sent me new vouchers so that was fine, I was just a bit confused as to where the unused vouchers since then had gone but I can see it all on the site now.
I'm quite excited. Might take the bf out for a nice meal. Or just by myself something pretty :o)
Watch out with the restaurant though, you can only put them towards food not drinks.
If you push the boat out and have a bottle of wine you have to pay for it.
Also they are only issued as £10 vouchers, so you can end up having to pay quite a bit of cash aswell. EG if the food part of your meal comes to £18 you can only give a £10 voucher.
