Some good friends have announced their engagement, OH to be best man, it's nice to have a wedding to look forward to.

Went for a check up at the hospital - bubs bit bigger than ideal so they want me back tmrw to discuss, great(!)

Then, told that OH's aunt has passed away.

What a day! I wonder what'll be next....

And to top it off, I haven't got any chocs - SHARE murray!!
i've got some chilli choc, you're welcome to share
How far along are you jb? maybe they just want to discuss birthing strategies. My first was 9lb 13oz and the midwife knew it was going to big but told me about 8lb and kept it to herself! Ended up with a section after 2 and a half days labour - soemtimes it's better to know and plan in advance. I also had to cut the feet of all the babygrows i'd taken into the hospital - if I'd have known what size he was likely to be I could have planned better and not wasted money. Hope it all goes well.
Just like annie, my midwife knew baby was big but didnt want to worry me.
Both of mine were 9lbs6.5ozs and a doddle to give birth to though. The size doesnt really make a great deal of difference in general cases.
Hi red, yes, my problem was that he was back to back, but the size didn't help 'cos he got stuck solid with his head at the wrong angle to press properly on the cervix.
You will look back and laugh !!! Get bigger knickers in though !!!!

I'm 35 weeks, so I'm sure it will be a case of discussing worse case scenarios?
It just upset me a bit, the girl I spoke to needed to check everything with the Dr, so I've no confidence in her. I'm just worried about complications. Born worrier me...

Never tried chilli choc, can't even imagine that, is it strong?
jb....they led me to believe that my daughter was going to tiny. I was having weekly scans because they didn't think she was growing. She was 7lb 14oz....so try not to worry just yet xx

Thanks ummmm, I'll see what they say tmrw and see what they suggest.

One sure fire way of improving my mood, MIL phoning to ask when was I going to visit her, "I can't tmrw, I've got to go back to the hospital", her reply???? "oh for god sake forget it then!"
