Warning for Halifax pet insurance holders

They are not taking on new customers and stopping doing pet insurance.You will be insured up until your renewal date then they will send you a pack offering you insurance with another provider.BUT,the new provider will not insure against exsisting claims/illnesses.

That'll be because it is Halifax's liability, if it is an EXISTING condition under treatment.
You can shop around though. Anyone with a renewal date in the next 1-2 months might want to start getting quotes now.
I think it's pretty poor of Halifax pet insurance to close completely instead of closing the book to new customers. What about those that have claimed - pre-existing conditions won't be covered when they move to another insurer.
