Does ones insurance pay for a replacement, less the excess?

If you claim though, your premium will go through the roof next year...
You are not insured for personal injury - only injury to other people.

Could you imagine the amount of fraudulent claims if you were covered?
That's what I thought, hc - third party injuries. Imagine the number of whiplash claims if you could claim on your own insurance!
Insurance premiums would be sky high.
Well, they are already sky high - the premiums would be far too expensive for the average motorist.
