I work for a dried fruit importer, we have full BRC certification and our facilities abroad have HACCP and ISO9001:2000 certification. I need to know if I require any sort of indemnity insurance or any other sort of insurance to cover my company. We import dried fruits and distribute them throughout the UK and Europe.

Extend your Public Liability Policy to cover Products Liability. If this cannot be done by your present Insurer then effect a separate Products Liability policy with another Insurer. Any competent insurance broker should be able to organise this for you.
