If you were driving your dad's car and was not insured to do so then the insurance will not cover you.

Your post isn't very clear, but if the company are excluding you after the accident then that does not exonerate them from payment if you were covered at the time of the accident. But you opened by saying your dad is the only one insured so unless he has cover for "any driver" or you as "named driver" then the company won't pay out, and you will be liable for prosecution for driving while uninsured.
//So I was in a bar car accident and someone hit me//
A person hit you or a car hit you or another car hit your (dad's) car that you were driving (uninsured?) ????
//my insurance wants to exclude me from the policy or add me but i don’t live with him?//
If your dad is the only one insured you are already "excluded". It doesn't matter where you live to be a named driver on someone else's insurance.
The crash will only be covered by the insurance pertaining at the time. If your (dad's) car was hit, was the driver of the other car at fault? - surely it's their insurance that matters and where any claim should be directed?
