i have spoke to Norwich Union and it would be cheaper to take out a new policy (even though the woman told me thats not legal!!) then to add my two kids to my existing policy..? is this right?

well my policy just for me worldwide for 12 months was �55, if i added them it would cost an extra �40 per child, but i could get another policy with the 3 of us on for �65
Are you talking about Annual Travel Insurance?
If so I can't understand why it would be'illegal' for you to cancel your existing pol and take out a new policy, it's upto you as far as I'm aware and if you get a cheaper rate then all the better...
Could you provide us with abit more details to help clarify things though....

thanks for the help all, i just took out another policy for 1 week with the kids on it, not sure if its legal in terms of if i have an issue. Roll on half term!!
