if say you have had no car for a while so hence no insurance is there some kind of test you have to take to get insurance back or maybe your licence? only ask cos my brother said it yesterday and it all seems a little strange to me
I've never heard of such a thing in my life! If you've had auto insurance and then sell your car, or move out of the country, your no claims bonus is carried over for up to two years.
No, you can 'step off the boat' and buy insurance immediately...all they need is the details of the vehicle and your name and address.... pricing is another issue..
