Car insurance after a ban

Last year my husband had a 6 month driving ban under the totting up rules, so this year when I got my insurance renewal I used www.confused.com to get a better rate. The cheapest quote was over 1000.

Another recommended comparison site was Tesco's new one, so I tried that and there were several quotes under 400. Because this seemed wrong I did it again, making sure I had given the conviction correctly and it came up with the same prices. i chose Privilege at 350 which is less than we paid before the ban, and it did show the conviction when I was transferred to Privilege's own site.

Now I'm obsessing that it's too cheap and something's gone wrong with the quote software. Am I wrong to doubt it? Will it show that I gave all the necessary detail when I submitted my quote request? I'm worried that if we needed to claim they would reject my claim.

Paperwork arrived today, and it shows the conviction under the driver information. I figure, whether they got their figures wrong or not, I have evidence that I provided all the info and they still issued cover.
