if anyone is unlucky to have had an accident with an unisured driver like me .I would like to point out that you can make a claim from the motor insurance burea.it is funded by all us who pay each year motor insurance they get about 30pounds of everyones insurance and it goes into a large fund

And if like me you are fully comp and have your own sickness/accident/injury insurance you are entted to exactly nothing from the MIB scheme. Which makes me fume as not only do I pay for all my own insurances, I'm also paying �30 a year for this.

And if the accident is caused by a hit and run who cannot be traced - you get nothing.

thats slightly incorrect Ethel - the MIB will deal with claims against both uninsured and untraced drivers - the untraced are subject to time constraints and they wont deal with some property damage but if you are injured they ill settle that.
if the person is uninsured and traced often the MIB will seek reimbursement from them after they have settled the claim.
plus if your claim is settled by the MIB often your motor insurers will allow the NCB.
