What is the obligation of my insurance company if I have GAP insurance and my vehicle is stolen and then recovered with damages 3 weeks later? Am I obligated to continue to make payments on my car for the period the car was stolen?

of course you are,dont ask such stupid questions,by the way gap insurance is nothing to do with the normal insurance on the car,all gap insurance is for is to make up any shortfall in the price you car insurer would pay out to get a car of the same spec,etc,etc.if it were to be written off etc.
