Help An insurance company is denying me my no claims!
i helped a mate out while i was between cars and insured myself on his van as the sole driver using my 3 years no claims. since then, we parted ways and when i went to ask the company (protectagroup) for proof of my no claims to put on my car with a different insurance company, they told me that i no longer had any no claims as it had been transferred to my ex mates company policy, and i would no longer even show up on their records.
i would greatly appreciate any advice, as i am now paying double insurance what i would have to on my car. and to all intents and purposed have lost my 3 years no claims.

when we parted ways i went to them and said i wanted to transfer my no clains and they told me it would cost 125 to do it, but they also told me i couldnt cancel it as my mate had the ins documents.
when i went in a week later thay then told me the policy had been changerd to another person, my name wasnt even listed and the no-claims no longer belonged to me.
hope that makes it clearer i still dont understand it.
