Cruise Travel Insurance part 2
Hi to everyone who replied to me last time.
I said I would give you all an update so thought it about time I did.
Gill at the Times looked into for me and got onto the travel firm I bought the cruise from. The flights was booked with someone else through them. And this was the phone number I rung to ask them to get us a flight back, but they couldnt. It appears I should have rung the other agent. But wasnt told that at the time.
My insurance still will not pay us a penny.! After I put the claim in again for Repatration. I am now writting to the Managing Director of the company to ask just what the policies pay out on- if delays arent delays on the way -if on the way back if- Missed flight - isnt missed flight which wasn't our fault or Depatration - when they are quite happy to leave you there and not bring you home.!!
Also sent it all to the cruise line and they are now looking at it.
I will let you know when I hear something. But one thing is for sure I am not going to be fobbed off.!!

Hymie how silly am I yes I did mean Gill of the Telegraph. I contacted her after your posting on here. She went through what had happened and contacted the Travel Agent. He said he would like to speak to me as he hadn't heard anything about it. I phoned him and he said I should have phoned them, I explained I was told to contact the people who booked the flights. Which I did, Anyway he said to send all the infirmation I have reciepts.letters ect. and they would forward it to Celebritiy Cruise line. I have already sent it all to them, end of November. But haven't heard anything back yet.
As I said I am going to contact the Managing Director of insurance co.
