Basic question I know but I don't know the answer.....
I have to pay 100 excess to get my car repaired following somebody reversing into me.
Once the insurers agree the 3rd party was at fault, do I get my Excess back?

yes you should indeed do. I have a rather small history of people pranging into me and as long as it is 100% the other parties fault you will get the whole excess back. If the Ins company decide to do 'knock for knock' ie 50% blame to each party I would imagine you lose 50% of the excess paid.
Good luck! SOunds like it is their fault if they reversed without looking!
You will get all your excess back if the other person is 100% to blame and they are insured. If they are not insured then you will get your excess back if you can trace them and they pay you - not everyone does.

You will only get your bonus back if your insurers also get all the money they have paid out back from the Third Party or their insurer. Unfortunately there are some insurers who take a very long time to pay. Hope it all works out OK for you.
