Seems like the most apropriate topic to put this in.

How do I find out my NI number? Or is there anything that I might have in my house that would have it on?

Molly, listen to Sara and do as she suggested.
I remember getting my NI card in 1965. I had to go to the Labour Exchange (now Job Centre). Cards were issued because in those days NI was a flat rate for all regardless of income and stamps had to be stuck on it as proof of payment. Even today some older people will refer to an NI payment as a 'stamp'.
