OK, i have the opportunity to work partime doing a similar job i do for the NHS. Is my contact lenient and could or does it allow me to take a second job?? As you can guess, i dont have my contract to hand.
Sorry, I don't have your contract to hand either.
But it probably would not be in the contract- you'd probably have to look at teh conditions of employment handbook or ask at work. But unless you would be using confidential or business sensitive data from the NHS or taking customers from your current employer i doubt there would be a problem

in general most employers allow you to undertake additional employment as long as it does not conflict or interfere with your contract with them. I am sure that NHS is the same.
Its very rare for a contract to stipulate what you do outside work. As long as you're not breaking confidences or doing anything to bring the NHS into disrepute you're a free person.
