My partner works on the rigs, has done for many years. The industry is healthy at the moment, shouldnt have a problem getting job. What in particular does he want to do, and what does he do on the boats?

alijangra - hi, he's a fast rescue craft coxein. he's wanting to work on the rigs but he's not to sure what to go for

yenaled - he was going to enrol on the 3 day survial course at RGIT
Its a chance that everyone has to take as obviously the RGIT is essential. I am yet to hear of someone who didnt go on to get a job after completing it.
Do you know what sort of salary a basic deck hand is?
