Prison officer JSAC

I will shortly be taking my JSAC. Is anyone able to give me some sound advice on how to get thro, I would be very grateful.

I was lead to believe that security checks take 2-4 weeks, if I were you I would phone Kim at area office and ask, they are a bit upside down at the moment, I passed my jsac in may, i took my medical monday 11th of this month and won' be getting my fitness test until next month. let me know how you get on so I know how long I might have to wait, you can e-mail me at [email protected] if you like. I had my JSAC today, my small question is How did you overcome your nerves? i gotta wait another 2 weeks or so before i hear back >_< i hate this waiting

Hi - good luck with starting your career in the Prison Service. I am currently going through the process and have just completed by JSAC (awaiting results with baited breath) Everyone I have met so far has been very supportive! I hope I will be able to enjoy a career change in the very near future!

I recently took my JSAC and it was OK. Apparently only 10% make it through the JSAC so I am prepared to take it again if I fail!!

Hi KoolKat,

I know they say its takes up to 6-8 weeks to get your results, but have you heard anything back yet?
I did mine yesterday....sooo glad its over! I was so nervous at start and went a little blank on my first one, but each one seemed to go better as I went along..(or at least I think so)
I managed to resolve each situation but I just hope I showed all the skills they were looking for

I have passed my online assessment, Not really worried about the fitness and will be able to scape through, but just not very good at one 2 ones. what type of things would I need to say. what types of words are they looking for?. Can anyone give me advise, really worried. I have my jsac in 2 weeks time at wakefield.

If anyone has an example of ones of there role plays just to see what goes on would be very appreicated.
