Hi, are ICS home courses any good? Are they actually regocnized as a good qualification? I really dunno what I want to do, im 16 and left school now. I gave up A levels after half a year lol it was rubbish. My main aim is to become a professional golfer but obviously i need a back up because that is a very hard profession to succeed in same as all sports. I didnt do very well in my GCSE's but I am actually quite clever but have never been interested in education ha. Im good at english I think. What careers are there out there which could earn me quite abit of money lol! Im quite interested in Art and Design, English and thats about it. Nothing with numbers or to do with science!

i got a leaflet through my door other day called DCA Home Learning, www.dcalearn.co.uk, 0800 6781050 ext 5576, i went on to there site and they have alot of courses you can do from home and they also let you pay for your course with instalments which is even better, give them a try or what about a college course i only had to attend mine once a month for 7mths which was ideal because i also had no interest in school. Be careful about courses you have to pay for they might not result in a recognised qualification and you are ENTITLED to full time free education at 16....don't fall for offers/answers that might be cunning sales pitches.

i am in the process of doing an ICS course in Car maintenance. The course content is excellent and they are very quick to mark your work. however, god forbid you ever need any help. they never ever reply to your emails. basically they ignore you!!! ive sent about 15 emails and receievd about 2 back, to which they didn't really reply to my query. I also think they aren't worth what you pay for them
