hi all, im really after some advice on whats the quickest way of gainig a trade qualification in plumbing, plastering,carpentry or electricians? im not after a get rich quick scheme or anything like that but since i have left school i have done this that and the other an dits not getting me anywhere. ihave recently been working as a painter but with no prospects gauranteed. the works now finished and im unemployed with xmas round the corner. i would appreciate any advice u can give me, thanks all. ps im a 26 yr old male from birmingham

ooo i never thought of that maybe theirs a 3 yr waiting list hmmmm
There is no need for sarcasm, if you had put in your post that you had already thought of that then I wouldn't have suggested it!

I don't know which College you have tried but there certainly isn't a 3 yr waiting list at the one I work at, plenty of people your age come in the evening and work at whichever trade during the day. There isn't any other way to get qualified, you are too old for an apprenticeship.
