Finding a good Career Advisor

I could really do with some career advice, as I do not know where to start with my chosen career path. I have done alot of research into where to go and be able to sit down with someone who may be able to help lead me onto the right courses etc. So far though all I can find is Connexions Career Advisor's who aim at children/young adults 13-19 (I am 26). Any suggestions would be greatly received.
