unless u speak norwegian & have a skilled offshore trade i.e (drilling/rigging/petrolium mecy/deckcrew) or if u no some1 who can give you a start, 4get it,u should have bought a surf board with the money youve spent.

i work offshore & its 1 ov the hardest industrys 2get in2 unless you have all the right certs & experiance, even then its not that easy, most ov the time its been in the right place at the right time!

what u need 2 do dunne is get yourself up 2 aberdeen & do a GREEN HAND course (1400 ish) this course is 4 people starting off as a rousterbout. if you have money 2 spend do as many courses as poss but only do courses that are OPITO recognised, oil companys wont even look at ur c.v unless they are. as i say its very very hard to get a job unless u have these,i no coz ive been there. & after lending a lot of money 2 do all sorts ov courses it still wasent good enough coz i dint have any offshore experiance.

good luck & i hope this might help u out...
