student work placement while studying a travel and tourism course at Level 2

I am currently studying a BTEC First Diploma Travel and Tourism course, so have an interview with First Choice travel agency tomorrow morning but I am very scared and nervous that they would not employ me because of the lack of customer service skills, even though I'm learning this skill as part of my course.

You should go for the interview! I really don't understand why you are worried. You must have either completed an application form or sent your CV in and so they will know what experience you have or haven't got. Also, you must have something that they want otherwise you wouldn't have got as far as an interview.
