My boyfriend is planning to leave the Army. He's worked as an engineer for 8 years doing CAD stuff. He is also a Physical Trainer in the the Army. Can anyone recommend a new career direction? He says he couldn't bare to be stuck at a PC all day and wants to keep active. However he's not willing to lose much in the way of pay (currently on £29K). He's scared to leave at the mo and its putting a terrible strain on our relationship! Any help appreciated.

PE teacher?
well if he doesnt want to be at a PC all day then he needs to do more than just CAD.

How about looking into smaller engineering companies where things are a bit more hands on? Plenty of those use CAD, 2d and 3d

Have thought about teaching but as a teacher myself, he's been slightly put off by the workload! Smaller engineer companies might be a good idea. Will lool in to it. Thanks x
