why don't you ask the uni's you are interested in going to?
Paramedic Science is offered by 4 universities. (Coventry, Northampton, Portsmouth & Staffordshire). It's a 2 year full-time course, leading to a Foundation degree in science.

Paramedic Practice is offered by 3 universities. (Central Lancashire, Edge Hill & Liverpool John Moores). It's a 2 year full-time course, leading to a Diploma of Higher Education.

My daughter did a Paramedic Diploma at Sheffield Hallam after doing a scence degree at another university. She got a bursary and on the job training as well as the academic content.

My University offers 25 places a year, we usually get 2- 3000 applications for the course.
