Penalties if your child will not attend achool

Does anyone know where I will get information regarding penalties placed on me if my child continues to refuse to attend school in Scotland.

I'm not sure I can help here but why isn't your child attending school? I'm only asking as I might have been in a simialr situation. I live in England but my experience might help. My child's problem turned out to be school phobia which i didn't believed existed until it happened to my once happy little girl.

well firstly contact the school and explain the problem and try to get your child to tell you or a third party (that the school might envolve) what the problem is, if its just rebelion well I'd make it a physical dragging to the school but as these days children seem to have more rights than their ever troubled parents that have to deal with the REAL world that might land you in jail.
