Does anyone know for sure what date the A level results are out this year - as I think they were bringing the date a week forward than usual!!??

According to the website of the National Association of Head Teachers, the original plan to move the date of the results forward was rescinded as long ago as last May:

That means that the usual date of the 3rd Thursday in August (21st) should apply:

GCE - 14 August 2008
