Becoming a Speech Therapist/Pathologist

I am entering University in Toronto, Ontario for a BA program but I need Health Sciences to become a Speech Pathologist. I am trained at my part-time job as a therapy worker with a special needs boy. One of my duties is to work with his speech ability. Does anyone know how become a Speech Therapist without majoring in Health Science and without too much time spent in school? Thank-You

Answerbank is a UK-based site. The requirements for training as a speech therapist in Canada may be very different to those in this country. You really need to seek an answer from your own country, in order to receive accurate information. The best site to do so is probably this one:
