As level chemistry converting grams into moles

i was wondeing if anyone knows how to convert grams in moles
for example
16g of sulphur dioxide ????

1. Determine how many grams are given in the problem.
2. Calculate the molar mass of the substance.
3. Divide step one by step two.


I got this from Google, easy enough to find.
SO2 has one sulphur atom (atomic weight 32) and two oxygen (2 x 16) so total atomic weight is 64, so a mole is 64g . So if I remember from school 16g is a quarter of a mole
