I thought I would refresh and bring up to date my knowledge of banking law and practice. I searched for MacDonald & Evans who used to publish excellent text books but they seem to have gone out of business. The Institute of Bankers is now more concerned with Financial Services (Insurance basically). Does anyone know where I can obtain up to date books on banking law and practice please?

There's some on amazon. The most recent one appears to be by W Thomson.

Many thanks spudqueen. It seems to be a dying subject. No wonder the banks are in such a mess!
