a couple of the girls i work with in a private care home often do a 7am until 10pm shift, although this is by their choice to do this they are then quite often in the next day at 7am again so as i said its their choice to work the long shift but is the employer legally allowed to let this happen, thanx

i also thought that they had to have a minimum of 11 hours rest between shifts so in a nutshell this is wrong as they are only getting 9 hours between shifts, thanx
isn't care work excluded?

sorry for late reply, but i havent heard if care work is excluded from this rule but will have to look into it more, thanx
