Although not from Essex , I do know of a relevant website. Having trialled successfully a leaflet production and solus delivery service for 3 years, a friend is just about to launch a licensed leaflet opportunity across the UK. He has secured the backing of a couple of directors with good provenance and belief in the project, and I am very interested in how its going to do. It is a bit like a franchise (but less expensive and with less paperwork) so some sort of commitment would be required in terms of responsiblity. You would however be your own boss, able to work your own hours. I understand the fee to be 97 per area per year in exchange for rights, product, support etc., with no other costs, and the target market mums, those semi-retired etc. looking for extra income, part-time work or to top up a pension (and to get a little excercise). The director I know regularly runs 10 areas himself, overseeing permanent staff and bringing in a good income, so full-time is OK too. You can probably tell by my writing style that I'm a copywriter (sorry - I guess it goes with the territory!), and its through business that I know Neal (the director). I believe this to be a great opportunity and would like to see it do well, with others profitting from helping support their local services, shops and communities. I have checked with Neal and he's happy enough for me to mention all this - it is after all in the public domain - and would I'm sure appreciate any feedback. Neal is friendly, easy to talk to and enthusiastic, and would be happy to give an honest appraisal if he thought this to be the right opportunity for someone (I guess it 's as much to his benefit having the right person on board). Neal's contact details are on the website,
