Bank Holidays and Sick leave

I work for a LA. I recently had two weeks sick leave and missed out on a bank holiday. I was told I am entitled to this back and added to my other leave. Is that the case?

you should get it pro-rata but i would speak to your line manager, someone where i work only works tues,wed,thurs so all bank holidays she gets back pro-rata

You had two weeks sitting on your backside feeling sorry for yourself, what more do you want?

Quit while your ahead, no employer likes or rewards a selfish mentality like that in the long run.

Dont think your colleagues will think you are clever either, because they will be doing your work while your scrounging every day off you can get!
