I'm applying for a part time post with the transport inspectorate and applications should be in the form of written evidence of suitability (I suppose this has ******** me asking what it really means).
Could anyone tell me what this comprises of.
Thank you

All it means is you should complete their application form or send a CV and in your covering letter you should make reference to the job description and person spec or advert to say specifically how you match up to the things they say they want from the job holder.

So, for example, if they say must have a sense of humour, youd say I maintain a sunny disposition regardless of the situation. If they say you need 5 years experience in a similar role youd say I believe my 5 years experience as an xx has prepared me well for the position you are seeking to fill.

Hope this helps.
