Working & claiming JSA

My husband has just been made redundant (again- that's 7 times in 10 years) and has been offered some part time work - working from home. This will only be around 10 - 15 hours a week and he is likely to earn around �60 - �80. Problem is, the company have given him a 'self employment' form, obviously so that they are not liable for tax and NI. Can he still claim JSA if he registers self employed for this company?

Just go on the directgov site and key in 'JSA 'and there's lots of guidance

he has to declare any work that he does, paid or unpaid, to the job centre before he signs on.
