Managers salary
I want to work up to management level.
Do managers get a good salary?
What sort of responsibilities do they have? Is it too much responsibility in relation to the wage?
I always thought managers job was really hard but now I don't know if its as hard as I think it is.

ermm...I don't really know - at the moment I am in retail - just started - so if I have the opportunity to work up to management there then I will do.
I don't mind in which job area I become a manager (whether it be retail, or whatever else there is) as I don't really know what I want to do for the rest of my life but I've been thinking more along the lines of sod trying to work out what I actually want to be (i.e. nurse, receptionist, vet etc etc) and just work up to management in anything as it will be hopefully a transferable skill even if its in a job area I don't want to stay in if you see what I mean.
Am I making sense? I doubt it!

maybe you need to consider what promotion opportunities are available in the careers you are considering. it's easy to get stuck in one grade.. or perhaps harder to climb the ladder in some.
just make sure you do something you enjoy. life's too short for being miserable for 40 hours a week!
good luck x

Managers earn at least £20k a year depending on the role and company. See http:// bitly.c om/10B8 mz8 so you get a better idea.
