Application for Healthcare Assistant NHS

Hi all,

im just wondering, in the section of additional information, how much to type. say for example do you go in to why you would like to apply for the job or not? Im worried about going on too much or not enough! any one got any advice?

In an NHS job I have applied for they have asked 2 specific questions

- What is your understanding of the role and what do you find most appealing about it?
- What personal qualities/attributes do you have that you feel will be beneficial to this post?

each answer to be no more than 150 words.

Some other jobs pose more questions, some none. Maybe those 2 might be a rough guideline to consider (particularly the max length).

Well I'm going to guess that it's either a band 2 or 3 rolse if it's a HCA so you basically need to do exactly what bibblebub said...

Look at the person spec for the role and your own qualifications and demonstrate why and how these match citing examples if possible. Any personaly qualities that are good for the role, demonstrate why and examples of you using them is all I can advise if you don't know where to start. Usually about the majority of an A4 page would be enough, you'd probably be able to fit it in to the application form box for personal statement/additional information.
